Mission

Befesa Medio Ambiente concentrates its activity on providing environmental services for industry and building environmental infrastructures developing the activities of Aluminum Waste Recycling, Steel and Galvanization Waste Recycling, Industrial Waste Management and Water.

Vission

Befesa provides solutions for the management of industrial waste and the management and generation of water, bearing in mind our social responsibility for contributing to creating a sustainable world.

Values

Befesa has developed a series of principles on which it bases its ethical code. Through all of the means it has available, it nurtures the knowledge and application of these values and mechanisms of control and revision are established that guarantee their correct follow up and updating. The most important of them are expressly described below:

• Integrity: honor in professional work forms part of the identity of Befesa and must be revealed in all of the actions of our personnel, both inside and outside the company. Proven integrity becomes credibility for our customers, suppliers, shareholders and others with whom we relate, and creates value in itself, for the person themselves and for the whole organization.
• Legality: observance of legality is not only an external requirement and an obligation of the organization itself and the personnel. The law gives us security in our actions and reduces risks in business.
• Professional rigor: the concept of professionalism in Befesa is intimately related to the service vocation in carrying out our activity and in contributing to the development of the business project. All of our actions carried out in the performance on the entrusted function must be presided by professional responsibility and governed by the principles established in our common management systems.
• Confidentiality: Befesa expects the people working in the company to maintain the criteria of discretion and caution in their communications and relations with others. Adequate safeguarding of the information held by the company requires all Befesa employees to keep strict control over it, by suitably guarding all documents and not allowing any person inside or outside the organization to access such information if they are not authorized.
• Quality: Befesa has a commitment to quality in all of its internal and external actions. This is not the work of an isolated group or the management, but rather in carrying it out, the participation is required of the whole organization and it must be put into practice in their daily activity.
